To solve the boot problem in a BeinSat Magic-505-4K receiver, follow the steps below. Boot problems can occur for various reasons, such as power failures or using the wrong software. Ensure that you have the correct software and follow these steps for recovery
Step 1: Prepare the USB Drive
- Download the latest software from the provided link.
- Format a USB flash drive with either the NTFS or FAT32 file system. Make sure the USB drive is virus-free to prevent any disruptions during the process.
Step 2: Create a Folder
- Create a folder at the root of the USB drive and name it “RomUpdate.” The file you downloaded should also be named “RomUpdate.bin”
- Copy and paste the “RomUpdate.bin” file into the “RomUpdate” folder on the USB drive.
Step 3: Recovery Process
- Turn off the BeinSat Magic-505-4K receiver.
- Turn the receiver back on. After turning it on, press and hold the power button on the front panel of the receiver or use the remote control’s power button. Continue holding the button until you see the “Upgrade” option on the receiver’s LCD screen.
- When the “Upgrade” option appears on the screen, wait for a few seconds to allow the update to start, and then release the power button.
- Once the recovery process is complete, the receiver will reboot itself and return to its normal functioning.
