How to Solve 1506Lv Load Problems Using a USB Flash
In this article, I’ll guide you through resolving the 1506lv load problem using a USB flash drive. If your receiver gets stuck during the software update process, don’t worry—there’s still a 90% chance of recovery using a USB flash drive. I’ll also provide the Sunplus 1506lv loader to help you out.
Step 1: Preparing the USB Flash Drive
First, download the software file named rom.bin. Copy this file directly to your USB flash drive without placing it inside any folder.
Step 2: Inserting the USB and Starting the Upgrade
Next, insert the USB flash drive into your receiver. Turn off the receiver and then turn it back on. Wait a few seconds, and the receiver’s upgrade process will automatically begin. You’ll see the upgrade progress displayed on the receiver’s LCD, and your LED/TV screen will show the “Download from.bin USB” process.
In this initial phase, the receiver will erase the existing flash data. Be patient and allow the process to reach 100% completion.
Step 3: Completing the Upgrade
Once the “Erasing Flash” process is complete, do not remove the USB flash drive. The receiver will then begin upgrading the flash with the new data. Again, wait until this process is fully completed.
Step 4: Finalizing the Recovery
After both processes are complete, remove the USB flash drive and restart your receiver. If the recovery is successful, delete the rom.bin file from your USB flash drive or reformat the drive.
